Electric propulsion is becoming a must for short distance RoPax or Pax vessels with the main challenge of an efficient charging solution even during short stops to reduce the size of the batteries.
For this we propose our PLUG shore power solution combined with our SMART mooring one, both fully auto-mated.
This combination allows a “one stop shopping” approach for the customer, the combination with our SMART automated mooring preventing the risk of the vessel undocking before the PLUG is fully disconnected…
Full automation is of course a benefit with regard to crew workload but as well maximize the charging time during the shortest calls…
